1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Nuzio ("we", "us") covering your use of the Nuzio app and the services at nuzio.co (together, the "Service"). By installing or using Nuzio you accept them. If you use Nuzio through TestFlight, Apple's beta terms apply as well.

2. The Service

Nuzio is a news reader. It gathers publicly available feeds from publishers, lays them out for reading, and can narrate stories aloud. Articles, headlines, images and trademarks belong to their publishers; Nuzio displays them for your personal reading and links back to the source. We don't claim ownership of, or responsibility for, third-party content.

3. Beta software

Nuzio is currently distributed as a beta. Features may change, break or be removed; feeds, voices and sync may be interrupted; and we may reset beta data where technically necessary. Please keep that in mind before relying on it.

4. Your account

An account is optional. If you create one, keep your credentials safe and tell us about any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what an account stores.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• ·Abuse, overload or scrape our services, including the audio and feed-resolver endpoints
• ·Circumvent technical limits, probe for keys, or reverse-engineer the Service except where the law permits
• ·Redistribute or commercially exploit synthesized narration or extracted article text
• ·Use the Service in any unlawful way or in violation of publishers' rights

6. Read-aloud

Narration is synthesized speech generated for your personal, non-commercial listening. Availability depends on our audio provider; when audio can't be produced, the Service shows it as unavailable rather than substituting a lower-quality voice. Short audio spots may play while narration is prepared.

7. Intellectual property

The Nuzio app, name, mark, design and software are ours and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store and TestFlight terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy of third-party news content, availability of feeds or narration, and fitness for a particular purpose. News content reflects its publishers, not us.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (the beta is free, so this may be zero).

10. Termination

You can stop using Nuzio at any time by deleting the app and, if you have one, your account. We may suspend or end access to the Service for breach of these terms or where we discontinue the beta.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We'll post changes here and update the effective date; meaningful changes will be flagged in the app. Continuing to use Nuzio after changes take effect means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
